How a GDSC Lead from Ukraine helped build an app that helps people find medication in their region
Meet Ekaterina Gricaenko, a GDSC Lead from Ukraine. For her, becoming a developer means being able to help others learn about technology. She shares her participation in Code4Ukraine, helping with Medicine Warriors, an app that helps people find medication in their region, and how the GDSC program helped build her leadership skills
"I tried my hand at many activities that Google Developer Student Club offer, and you start to understand your own boundaries, your own talents. I’m proud to find a place where I could bring some value with my mentor skills. It's about community. It's about finding the professionals near you, or at least people who are interested in technology and want to grow. I wanted to spend as much time as I could on tutoring and mentoring because I think it makes me feel more connected feel like I am making some impact."
