RDAP Overview

The Google Domains RDAP API lets you search for information about domains that are managed by Google Domains.

The API conforms to the Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) developed by ICANN. RDAP is intended as the successor to the WHOIS protocol, and has similar use cases. The advantages RDAP provides include JSON-formatted responses, support for internationalization, and improved data access controls. For more information about RDAP, see the ICANN overview page.
