Licensed software in Project IDX
Project IDX makes use of third-party, open source software that developers
are familiar with to enhance the developer experience. Where applicable, you
can display the license directly from the product.
To access an open source software license directly from IDX, follow
these steps:
Open the integrated terminal in the Terminal panel in IDX:
- Press Ctrl + `.
- Open the command palette (Cmd+Shift+P on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+P on ChromeOS, Windows, or
Linux) and select Terminal: Create New Terminal.
Navigate to the license in the code:
- For Nixd, enter
cd /google/idx/builtins/etc/idx/sources/nixd
.
- For Nix, enter
cd /google/idx/builtins/etc/idx/sources/nix
.
Use your preferred editor to view the license.
