We’re making it easier to navigate roads, intersections, and pathways with visual road details across Maps JavaScript API, Maps SDKs, and Navigation SDK. You’ll now have access to highly detailed road information to help your users understand and navigate their environments better and with more confidence.

Enhancements include:

Important Details: Pathways and stairs in parks
Better Visualization: Road widths, centerlines, and medians
Improved Walkability: Sidewalks and crosswalks

Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Then you might want to check out the Game of Thrones: Legends mobile game. Zynga partnered with Modern English Digital to design and develop an interactive Google Maps-powered sweepstakes, Dragon Egg Hunt. The sweepstakes was a first-of-its-kind experience, built with the use of Photorealistic 3D Tiles, letting users navigate a world map to find clues and virtual dragon eggs hidden amongst real-world landmarks.
