Last month, we invited the Maps Platform Innovator community to share feedback on the Places Swift SDK for iOS Preview. We're grateful for the valuable insights you shared.
Key findings include positive responses to the APIs in GooglePlacesSwift, indicating a better overall performance than their Objective-C counterparts and improved support for Swift Concurrency and Protocol features. We did receive feedback conveying confusion regarding cloud console changes and the lack of SwiftUI support.
To address these points and improve the product for the future, we're committed to updating our documentation with clearer migration instructions and plan to support SwiftUI in future UI components.
Thank you again for taking the time to review this product. If you have further feedback or suggestions, feel free to submit them through the survey or our Issue Tracker.
