We highly recommend the use the PayButton API over the static assets to provide a best-in-class user experience, including the following:

  • Style: A customizable button appearance to match your UI design while staying up-to-date with the latest Google Pay branding. This includes changing the button color, caption, corner radius, height, and width. The most up-to-date customization options can be found at ButtonOptions.

Google Pay payment buttons are available in three variations: dark, light, and light with an outline. Each variation comes with and without the "Buy with" text. Payment buttons with localized versions of the "Buy with" text are provided, but the Google Pay brand is always untranslated. Don't create buttons with your own localized text.
