Gerenciar cursos

Um recurso Course representa uma turma, como "MAT 127". Ele inclui campos como name, ownerId e courseState. O recurso Course é o recurso pai de muitos outros recursos da API Classroom.

Criar um curso

É possível criar um curso usando o método courses.create(). Ao criar um curso, alguns campos, como name e ownerId, são obrigatórios. Você pode adicionar metadados, como description, section ou room.

Cada curso recebe um ID exclusivo do Google Sala de Aula. Os cursos também podem ser referenciados usando um alias. Consulte o guia Gerenciar aliases para informações sobre como adicionar aliases de escopo de projeto e de domínio aos cursos.

Os seguintes pontos de referência são úteis ao criar cursos usando a API Classroom:

• Crie um alias definindo o campo id do curso:

  • É recomendável adicionar um apelido ao curso. Ao criar um Course, é possível especificar o alias no campo id. Isso cria automaticamente um alias para o curso. Também é possível adicionar um alias para um curso usando o método courses.aliases.create().
  • Ao ler dados do curso usando o método courses.get() ou courses.list(), o campo id retorna o ID atribuído pelo Google Sala de Aula. É possível extrair uma lista de aliases de um curso fazendo uma solicitação para o método courses.aliases.list().

• Apenas administradores de domínio podem criar cursos em nome de outros usuários no domínio: qualquer outro usuário recebe um erro 403 se especificar um usuário diferente de si mesmo no campo ownerId.

• Se o campo courseState não for especificado, ele será definido como PROVISIONED por padrão: se o curso estiver no estado PROVISIONED, o professor identificado no campo ownerId precisará aceitar a turma na interface do Classroom ou o curso precisará ser atualizado pela API para mudar o courseState para ACTIVE. Os cursos ACTIVE estão disponíveis para os estudantes.

• As contas de consumidor (*@gmail.com) não podem criar cursos no estado ACTIVE. As solicitações para fazer isso retornam um erro 403: PERMISSION_DENIED.

Atualizar informações do curso

A API Classroom permite atualizar alguns metadados do curso depois que ele é criado. Atualizar as informações do curso pode ser importante ao gerenciar usuários excluídos em um domínio. Por exemplo, se um administrador de domínio precisar excluir a conta de um professor no Google Admin Console, ele vai precisar transferir a propriedade do curso antes de fazer isso. Isso minimiza o risco de perder o acesso ao curso.

Aviso: se a conta do proprietário do curso for excluída antes que a propriedade seja transferida para um professor assistente, alguns recursos da turma e da API para esse curso não vão funcionar. Consulte a seção Atualizar o proprietário do curso para mais detalhes.

Os campos a seguir podem ser atualizados a qualquer momento após a criação do curso:

• name
• section
• descriptionHeading
• description
• room
• courseState
• ownerId

Para atualizar todos os campos em um curso, use o método courses.update(), conforme mostrado no exemplo a seguir:

Atualizar o proprietário do curso

Os administradores de domínio podem usar o método courses.patch() para atualizar o campo ownerId e transferir a propriedade de um curso para um novo professor no domínio. Se o novo professor ainda não for um coprofessor, faça uma solicitação para o método teachers.create() para adicioná-lo ao curso antes de atualizar o campo ownerId.

Aviso: transfira a propriedade do curso para um novo professor antes da conta do proprietário original do curso ser excluída no Google Admin Console. Se a conta do proprietário do curso original for excluída antes da transferência de propriedade, um erro InactiveCourseOwner será retornado. O administrador do domínio precisa tentar restaurar a conta do proprietário original do curso e repetir as etapas para começar a transferir a propriedade.
