Una risorsa Course rappresenta un corso, ad esempio "MATEMATICA 127". Include campi come name, ownerId e courseState. La risorsa Course è la risorsa principale di molte altre risorse dell'API Classroom.

Creare un corso

Puoi creare un corso utilizzando il metodo courses.create(). Quando crei un corso, alcuni campi, come name e ownerId, sono obbligatori. Se vuoi, puoi aggiungere metadati come description, section o room.

A ogni corso viene assegnato un ID univoco da Classroom. È possibile fare riferimento ai corsi anche utilizzando un alias. Per informazioni su come aggiungere ai corsi alias basati sul progetto e sul dominio, consulta la guida alla gestione degli alias.

Quando crei corsi utilizzando l'API Classroom, tieni presente i seguenti suggerimenti:

  • Crea un alias impostando il campo id del corso:

    • Ti consigliamo di aggiungere un alias al corso. Quando crei un Course, puoi specificare l'alias all'interno del campo id. Verrà creato automaticamente un alias per il corso. Puoi anche aggiungere un alias per un corso utilizzando il metodo courses.aliases.create().
    • Tieni presente che, quando leggi i dati del corso utilizzando il metodo courses.get() o courses.list(), il campo id restituisce l'ID assegnato da Classroom. Puoi recuperare un elenco di alias per un corso inviando una richiesta al metodo courses.aliases.list().

  • Solo gli amministratori di dominio possono creare corsi per conto di altri utenti nel loro dominio: qualsiasi altro utente riceve un errore 403 se specifica un utente diverso da sé nel campo ownerId.

  • Se il campo courseState non è specificato, viene impostato su PROVISIONED per impostazione predefinita: se il corso è nello stato PROVISIONED, il insegnante identificato nel campo ownerId deve accettare il corso nell' interfaccia utente di Classroom o il corso deve essere aggiornato tramite l'API per modificare courseState in ACTIVE. ACTIVE corsi sono disponibili per gli studenti.

  • Gli account consumer (*@gmail.com) non possono creare corsi nello stato ACTIVE: le richieste in tal senso restituiscono un errore 403: PERMISSION_DENIED.

Aggiornare le informazioni del corso

L'API Classroom ti consente di aggiornare alcuni metadati del corso dopo la sua creazione. L'aggiornamento delle informazioni sui corsi può essere importante per la gestione degli utenti eliminati in un dominio. Ad esempio, se un amministratore di dominio deve eliminare l'account di un insegnante nella Console di amministrazione Google, deve prima trasferire la proprietà del corso. In questo modo, si riduce al minimo il rischio di perdere l'accesso al corso.

I seguenti campi possono essere aggiornati in qualsiasi momento dopo la creazione del corso:

  • ownerId

Aggiornare il proprietario del corso

Gli amministratori di dominio possono utilizzare il metodo courses.patch() per aggiornare il campo ownerId e trasferire la proprietà di un corso a un nuovo insegnante all'interno del loro dominio. Se il nuovo insegnante non è già un co-insegnante, invia una richiesta al metodo teachers.create() per aggiungerlo al corso prima di aggiornare il campo ownerId.
