Version v2 of the Content API is scheduled for sunset on September 30th, 2021. Onboarding to v2 ended on April 30, 2021. To avoid disruptions with your integration, please migrate to v2.1 as soon as possible.

Create supplemental feeds

Before you can make supplemental feed calls with the Content API, you have to create a supplemental feed in Merchant Center. Follow the instructions in Create a feed and make sure you select Content API as the feed source. However, the primary feed that you modify with the supplemental feed can use any source, including Google Sheets, scheduled fetch, direct upload, or Content API.

Retrieving IDs for supplemental feeds

After creating a supplemental feed, retrieve the feedId in Merchant Center so that you can use it to make Content API calls.

To retrieve a feedId, follow these steps:

  1. In Merchant Center, select Products > Feeds.
  2. In the Supplemental feeds section, click the feed name, then the Settings tab.
