- Citizens Broadband Radio Service Device (CBSD): Ein physisches Gerät, das im CBRS-Band übertragen werden kann, nachdem es von einem SAS autorisiert wurde. Beispiele hierfür sind die Basisstation eines Smartphones oder ein eNodeB.
- CBSD-Gewährungsstatus: Die Zuschüsse haben einen der folgenden Status: gewährt, genehmigt, gesperrt oder gekündigt.
- CBSD-ID: Die eindeutige Kennung für eine CBSD. Sie besteht aus der FCCSD-ID und der Seriennummer des CBSD.
- Spectrum Access System (SAS): Ein Cloud-Dienst, der die Betriebsparameter von CBSDs steuert, um den Schutz von Nutzern mit höherer Priorität zu gewährleisten.
- Zertifizierter Professional Installer (CPI): Die Person, die die Installationsparameter bestimmter Typen von CBSDs validiert und einem SAS zur Verfügung stellt. Der SAS validiert die CPI-Identität und -Zertifizierung dieser Person, bevor sie CBSD-Installationsparameter bereitstellen darf.
