View a map in the cluster

  • The cluster display option enables drivers to view a non-interactive map in the instrument cluster for easier navigation.

  • This cluster map view is independent of the center screen map and appears only during navigation with the Navigation template.

  • When a destination is selected from the Place List template, the Navigation template activates and displays a secondary map in the instrument cluster.

To help drivers view map content while looking straight ahead, you can use the cluster display option for the Navigation template.

With this option, you can display a map in the instrument cluster, behind the steering wheel. This map is noninteractive and can feature its own map view, independent of any map view that might appear in the center screen. It displays in the cluster only while the user is navigating with the Navigation template.
