Enhanced Data Portability API coming soon.

Later this year we're updating our Data Portability API, including:

  • Multi-mode access controls: Users will have more granular control over data sharing, allowing users to choose between providing third parties with access to their data for 180 days, 30 days, or the existing one-time export option.
  • Streamlined data refreshes: Where the user authorizes time-based (30 days or 180 days) access, you can design your app to export data every 24 hours, ensuring seamless data access and reducing friction for users.
  • Renew access functionality: Built-in options for users to easily renew their data sharing authorization after the initial period for 6 months, before it expires, maintaining continuity of service.

Keep an eye out for the official release date in Fall 2024 and updated documentation.
