There will generally be three supported versions of Structured Data Files (SDF)
at any given time. When a new version is released, a sunset date is announced
for the previous version. A version is considered deprecated once a sunset date
has been announced for it.
The minimum deprecation period for most versions will be 6 months. While
deprecated versions remain available until the scheduled sunset date, users are
encouraged to use the deprecation period to migrate to a newer version. After
the sunset date, deprecated versions will no longer be available.
A schedule of the currently announced deprecation and sunset dates is provided

New versions trigger a sunset date announcement for the previous version, initiating a minimum six-month deprecation period. During deprecation, users should migrate to newer versions, although deprecated versions remain available until sunset. After sunset, those versions are removed. Four weeks before sunset, the default version increases. Deprecation and sunset dates for versions 3.1 to 6 are outlined, with dates ranging from 2019 to 2025.\n"]]
