Demand Gen campaigns offer robust audience controls, including the ability to use Lookalike segments to find new customers similar to existing ones. They can also utilize Google AI for bidding, targeting, and creative delivery to maximize performance
Google Ads scripts supports mutate and search, which allow direct access to the Google Ads API and most of its features, including Demand Gen campaign creation and management workflows. Requests are formatted in JSON and use the same format as the API's REST endpoints. The concepts presented can be used for any campaign type supported by the Google Ads API. Demand Gen campaigns are not supported through any specialized AdsApp functions.
