The Chrome Printer Management API is a RESTful API that can be used to create and manage printers and print servers for a Chrome or Google Workspace customer. Your end users can use the printers you set up with the API to print directly from their organization's ChromeOS devices.
Following is a list of common terms used in the Chrome Printer Management API:
- CUPS
- CUPS is an open-source printing system that uses the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) to manage network print jobs and queues across a wide variety of printers, without requiring device-specific drivers.
