広告用のウェブビュー API を使用すると、 CustomTabSession のタグでアプリのシグナルが利用可能になり、コンテンツを提供したウェブパブリッシャー様の収益化を改善したり、広告主様をスパムから保護したりすることができます。

仕組み

Google Mobile Ads SDK との通信は、次のいずれかによってトリガーされた広告イベントへの応答でのみ行われます。

Google Mobile Ads SDK は、Android フレームワークで提供される CustomTabsSession を使って postMessage チャネルを開くことで、通信を円滑にします。

前提条件

Google Mobile Ads SDK 23.0.0 以降。
モバイルアプリに Chrome カスタムタブがすでに実装されていること。ウォームアップとプリフェッチ: カスタムタブサービスの使用をご覧ください。
Digital Asset Links を使用して、モバイルアプリがウェブサイトに関連付けられていること。手順については、TWA の PostMessage をご覧ください。
APPLICATION_ID のチェックをバイパスするために、AndroidManifest.xml ファイルに次の <meta-data> タグを追加します。この手順を行わず、 <meta-data> タグを指定しなかった場合、Google Mobile Ads SDK により IllegalStateException アプリの起動時にスローされます。

実装

Chrome カスタムタブの実装内で、 onCustomTabsServiceConnected() コールバックのコードを変更します。newSession() は MobileAds.registerCustomTabsSession() に置き換えます。これにより、postMessage チャネルとの接続が確立され、SDK シグナルで広告タグが拡充されます。postMessage チャネルを接続するには、Digital Asset Links が必要です。必要に応じて、 CustomTabsCallback パラメータを設定して、Chrome カスタムタブのイベントをリッスンすることもできます。

CustomTabsSession から受信した Google Mobile Ads SDK からメッセージを送信することはできますが、SDK が既存のチャネルをオーバーライドする新しいチャネルをリクエストすると、ポートが変更される可能性があります。
