コースのエイリアスを管理する

コースのエイリアスを使用して、コースを別の名前で参照できます。コース エイリアスは、Google Classroom のコース ID と外部コース ID のマッピングとして使用できます。たとえば、生徒情報システム（SIS）のコース ID と一致するようにコース エイリアスを設定できます。

コース エイリアスには、ドメイン全体とプロジェクト全体の 2 つの形式があります。

  • ドメイン全体のエイリアスは d: の接頭辞を使用し、Classroom API を使用するすべてのユーザーが確認できます。ドメイン名前空間は、すべてのユーザーがアクセスする必要があり、特定のプログラムに固有ではないエイリアスを作成する場合に便利です。たとえば、MATH 127 や COMSCI 127 など、コースの代替リスティングはドメイン Namespace に作成する必要があります。ドメイン名前空間内のエイリアスは、ドメイン管理者のみが作成できますが、ドメイン内のすべてのユーザーに表示されます。

  • プロジェクト全体のアリアスは p: という接頭辞を使用します。作成した Google Cloud プロジェクトでのみ表示および使用できます。デベロッパー プロジェクトの名前空間は、アプリケーション固有のエイリアスを管理する場合に便利です。たとえば、コースに代替 ID を使用するアプリケーションでは、エイリアスを作成して、その ID を Classroom コースにマッピングできます。この Namespace で作成されたエイリアスは、特定の Google Cloud プロジェクトに関連付けられます。アプリケーションのすべてのユーザーは、そのアプリケーションのデベロッパー プロジェクトの名前空間でエイリアスを作成して表示できます。

クラスルーム API エンドポイントの Classroom クラス ID の代わりに、クラス エイリアスを使用できます。つまり、このエイリアスを使用して、コースと名簿の情報を読み取り、変更できます。

生徒情報システムとの同期にエイリアスを使用する

コースの SIS 内部 ID は、コースのドメイン全体のエイリアスとして登録できます。これにより、SIS と Classroom の両方を統合するすべてのデベロッパーが、SIS ID を使用して Classroom データを操作できるようになります。

SIS からコースを作成する場合は、コースのエイリアスとして SIS のコース ID を使用することをおすすめします。courses.create() メソッドを使用してコースを作成する場合は、リクエストの id フィールドでエイリアスを指定できます。エイリアスがすでに存在する場合、コースの作成は失敗し、409 ALREADY_EXISTS エラーが発生します。これにより、同期プログラムで問題が発生した場合に、重複するコースが作成されるのを防ぐことができます。

たとえば、SIS 名が school で、特定のコースに対して SIS で使用される内部 ID が math_101 の場合、d:school_math_101 というエイリアスを作成できます。

新しいコースのエイリアスを追加する

新しいコースのエイリアスを追加するには、courses.create() リクエストを行うときに course.id をエイリアスに設定します。
