ما هو المؤشر العالمي لحبوب اللقاح (UPI)؟
تم تصميم المؤشر العالمي لحبوب اللقاح (UPI) لتقديم مقياس موحّد عالميًا
للمقارنة بين مستويات حبوب اللقاح في مناطق مختلفة. يساعد المؤشر في تقييم خطر التعرّض لحبوب اللقاح استنادًا إلى عوامل مختلفة للأشخاص الذين يعانون حساسية من حبوب اللقاح. استنادًا إلى نموذج متعدد الطبقات، يمثّل هذا المؤشر بيانات حول مستوى حبوب اللقاح، ويأخذ في الاعتبار تركيز حبوب اللقاح لكل نموذج نباتي، والعديد من مؤشرات حبوب اللقاح المحلية المختلفة (LPI) المستخدَمة في جميع أنحاء العالم، وقدرة أنواع حبوب اللقاح المختلفة على التسبب بالحساسية، وذلك لتوقّع عدد حبوب اللقاح لكل متر مكعب (حبة/م3) في اليوم.
تعرض نقطة النهاية heatmapTiles مربّعات خرائط التمثيل اللوني التي يمكن وضعها فوق خريطة أساسية. تعرض مربّعات الخريطة الحرارية مؤشر UPI في جميع أنحاء العالم لنوع نبات معيّن (TREE أو GRASS أو WEED).

تستند كل فئة إلى مستويات تركيز محدّدة لحبوب اللقاح في منطقة معيّنة وتأثيرها في شدة أعراض الحساسية التي تظهر عادةً، ما يقدّم تمثيلاً شاملاً لمستويات حبوب اللقاح.
من خلال دمج مؤشر جودة الهواء، يمكن للمستخدمين مقارنة وتقييم مستويات حبوب اللقاح في مواقع مختلفة.
