sponsors.list yöntemi 30 Eylül 2020'de veya bu tarihten sonra desteklenmeyecektir. API istemcilerinin,
members.list yöntemini kullanmak için
sponsors.list yöntemine yapılan çağrıları güncellemesi gerekir.
sponsor kaynağı, bir YouTube kanalının kanal üyesini (eski adıyla "sponsor") temsil eder.
Üyeler, içerik üreticilere düzenli olarak maddi destekte bulunur ve özel avantajlardan yararlanır. Örneğin, içerik üretici sohbet için üyelere özel modunu etkinleştirdiğinde üyeler sohbet edebilir.
