O sistema de classificação WorldCereal da Agência Espacial Europeia (ESA) (link em inglês) tem como objetivo gerar produtos em até um mês após o fim de uma determinada estação de cultivo. Devido à natureza dinâmica dessas estações de crescimento em todo o mundo, foi realizada uma estratificação global em zonas agroecológicas (ZAE) com base nos calendários agrícolas globais criados no projeto [1]. A coleção de recursos neste conjunto de dados contém as 106 AEZs para as quais os produtos do WorldCereal foram gerados. Cada AEZ tem calendários agrícolas exclusivos, descritos com base no início (SOS) e no fim (EOS) da estação. O SOS e o EOS são fornecidos em dia do ano (DOY, na sigla em inglês). Mais informações sobre a estratificação da AEZ e a geração subsequente de produtos do WorldCereal estão descritas em [2].
Propriedades da AEZ:
aez_id: o ID exclusivo de cada AEZ. Os produtos da WorldCereal podem ser filtrados com base nesse ID.
aez_groupid: o ID do grupo combina várias AEZs exclusivas em um grupo com base na similaridade do calendário agrícola.

tc-annual_eos: fim da temporada anual de tc (DOY)
tc-wintercereals_sos: SOS da temporada tc-wintercereals (DOY)
tc-wintercereals_eos: fim da temporada de cereais de inverno (DOY)
