Il set di dati GLS2005 è una raccolta di 9500
immagini satellitari ortorettificate a media risoluzione raccolte tra
il 2004 e il 2007 e che coprono le masse terrestri della Terra. GLS2005 utilizza principalmente dati Landsat 5 e Landsat 7 con riempimento delle lacune, con dati EO-1 ALI e Terra ASTER che riempiono
eventuali lacune nei dati.
Questo set di dati contiene immagini solo dei sensori L5 TM e L7 ETM+ e solo le 6 bande che questi due sensori hanno in comune: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 e 70.
