Nord America continentale, Hawaii e Portorico (i dati per Portorico sono disponibili a partire
dal 1950). Deriva dai dati delle stazioni meteorologiche selezionate e da varie origini dati di supporto.
Rispetto alla versione precedente, Daymet V4 fornisce soluzioni efficaci ai problemi noti e
prende in considerazione ulteriori miglioramenti a quelli che si ritenevano essere i bias delle stazioni meteorologiche di input.
I miglioramenti includono:
Riduzioni del bias temporale delle misurazioni della stazione meteorologica di segnalazione dell'input.
Miglioramento delle tecniche del modello di regressione tridimensionale nell'algoritmo principale.
Un nuovo approccio alla gestione dei bias di misurazione della temperatura ad alta quota.
I dati del 2020 e del 2021 vengono importati dalle origini V4 R1
