Проект NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis Project – совместный проект Национальных центров прогнозирования окружающей среды (NCEP, ранее NMC) и Национального центра атмосферных исследований (NCAR). Целью этого совместного проекта является проведение нового анализа атмосферы на основе исторических данных, а также анализ текущего состояния атмосферы (система усвоения климатических данных, CDAS). Проект NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis 1 использует современную систему анализа и прогнозирования для усвоения данных с использованием данных за период с 1948 года по настоящее время. Данные имеют 6-часовое временное разрешение (00:00, 06:00, 12:00 и 18:00 UTC) и пространственное разрешение 2,5 градуса.
