Система климатического прогнозирования (CFS) Национальных центров прогнозирования окружающей среды (NCEP) представляет собой полностью сопряженную модель, отражающую взаимодействие атмосферы, океанов, суши и морского льда Земли. CFS была разработана в Центре моделирования окружающей среды (EMC) NCEP. Действующая CFS была обновлена до версии 2 (CFSv2) 30 марта 2011 года.
Прогнозы инициализируются четыре раза в сутки (в 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 и 18:00 UTC). Эта же модель использовалась для создания системы реанализа климатических прогнозов NCEP (CFSR), а набор данных CFSv2 предназначен для расширения CFSR. Мы используем только подмножество диапазонов из файлов, соответствующих cdas1.t??z.sfluxgrbf 06 .grib2.
