CPC Unified Gauge-Based Analysis of Global Daily Precipitation veri kümesi, 1979'dan günümüze kadar karadaki günlük yağış tahminlerini sunar.

Bu ağda, geriye dönük sürümüne (1979-2005) 30.000'den fazla, gerçek zamanlı sürümüne (2006-günümüz) ise yaklaşık 17.000 ölçer katkıda bulunur.
Veriler 0,5 derecelik çözünürlükte sağlanır ve hem yağış miktarlarını (0,1 mm cinsinden) hem de her bir ızgara hücresi için kullanılan ölçüm cihazlarının sayısını içerir. Bu sayede kullanıcılar veri kalitesini değerlendirebilir.
Veri kümesinin kalitesinin tropikal Afrika ve Antarktika'da düşük olduğu, genel olarak da ölçüm cihazı yoğunluğuna göre değiştiği kabul edilmektedir. Daha eksiksiz istasyon verileri kullanıma sunuldukça gerçek zamanlı verilerde değişiklik yapılabilir.
NOT: 1979-2005 arasındaki geçmiş veriler, veri setinin mevcut sürümünde kullanılamaz.
