Hawaii ve Porto Riko verileri 2001 zaman aralığını temsil etmektedir (Gon et al. 2006, Gould et al. 2008).
Alaska ve ABD'nin diğer 48 eyaleti için kullanılan sınıflandırma şeması, NatureServe'ün Ekolojik Sistem Sınıflandırması'na (Comer ve diğerleri, 2003) dayanırken Porto Riko ve Hawaii'nin harita lejantı, adaya özgü sınıflandırma sistemlerine (Gon ve diğerleri, 2006; Gould ve diğerleri, 2008) dayanmaktadır.
