Set data Tasseled Cap Wetness (TCW) yang diisi ini dibuat dengan menerapkan
persamaan tasseled-cap yang ditentukan dalam Lobser dan Cohen (2007) ke
gambar yang dikoreksi BRDF MODIS (MCD43B4). Data yang dihasilkan diisi dengan pendekatan yang diuraikan dalam Weiss et al. (2014) untuk menghilangkan data yang hilang karena faktor seperti tutupan awan. Setelah mengisi kesenjangan, data dipangkas ke nilai minimum dan maksimum [-1, 2] untuk memastikan nilai yang valid.
