Questa raccolta di immagini fornisce l'accesso al monitoraggio satellitare ad alta risoluzione
delle regioni tropicali con lo scopo principale di ridurre e invertire la
perdita di foreste tropicali, contribuendo a combattere il cambiamento climatico, conservare
la biodiversità, contribuire alla ricrescita, al ripristino e al miglioramento delle foreste e
facilitare lo sviluppo sostenibile, il tutto per uso non commerciale.

I mosaici del programma NICFI Satellite Data (noti anche come mosaici Planet-NICFI) contengono raccolte mensili e biennali generate ogni 6 mesi. Il tipo di mosaico viene memorizzato nel campo dei metadati dell'immagine
"cadenza". Utilizza questo campo insieme alla data di inizio e di fine di ogni mosaico
per trovare le immagini desiderate.

The type of the mosaic is stored in the image metadata field\n'cadence'.
