derivato dal modello LiDAR rappresenta un DEM nazionale di 5 metri (terreno
nudo) derivato da circa 236 rilievi LiDAR individuali
tra il 2001 e il 2015 che coprono un'area di oltre 245.000
chilometri quadrati. Questi sondaggi riguardano la zona costiera popolata dell'Australia, i sondaggi sulle pianure alluvionali all'interno del bacino Murray-Darling e i sondaggi individuali dei principali e secondari centri abitati.
Tutti i DEM derivati dal LiDAR con risoluzione di 1 metro disponibili sono stati
compilati e ricampionati utilizzando un metodo di media del vicinato in set di dati con risoluzione di 5 metri per ogni area di rilevamento, quindi uniti
in un unico set di dati per ogni stato. Il set di dati di ogni stato viene fornito come immagine separata all'interno della raccolta di immagini.
L'acquisizione dei singoli rilievi LiDAR e la derivazione
