Ảnh chụp từ trên không NLS là một tập dữ liệu ảnh chụp từ trên không bao phủ toàn bộ Phần Lan.
Dữ liệu này do SMK(Cơ quan Năng lượng, trước đây viết tắt là SMK) cung cấp. Ảnh trực giao là sự kết hợp của một số bức ảnh chụp từ trên không riêng lẻ. Tập dữ liệu ảnh chụp từ trên không ở định dạng ảnh trực giao là tập dữ liệu gần đây nhất bao gồm những bức ảnh chụp từ trên không gần đây nhất. Dữ liệu gần đây nhất thường có tuổi đời từ 1 đến 3 năm. Ảnh trực giao NLS được cập nhật 3 năm một lần (ở Bắc Lapland là 12 năm).
