Bản đồ Đất tự nhiên SBTN phiên bản 1 là bản đồ cơ sở năm 2020 về lớp phủ đất tự nhiên và không tự nhiên, dành cho các công ty đặt mục tiêu dựa trên cơ sở khoa học cho thiên nhiên, cụ thể là Mục tiêu số 1 về đất của SBTN: không chuyển đổi hệ sinh thái tự nhiên.
Định nghĩa về "tự nhiên" và "không tự nhiên" được điều chỉnh theo định nghĩa của Sáng kiến về Khung trách nhiệm giải trình đối với hệ sinh thái tự nhiên là "hệ sinh thái có thành phần loài, cấu trúc và chức năng sinh thái giống với hệ sinh thái ở một khu vực nhất định khi không có tác động lớn của con người" và có thể bao gồm cả hệ sinh thái được quản lý cũng như hệ sinh thái bị suy thoái dự kiến sẽ tái tạo tự nhiên hoặc thông qua hoạt động quản lý (AFi 2024). Bản đồ Đất tự nhiên của SBTN hiện thực hoá định nghĩa này bằng cách sử dụng các proxy dựa trên dữ liệu hiện có phù hợp với hướng dẫn của AFi trong phạm vi có thể.
