מערך הנתונים הזה של בהירות (TCB) עם מילוי פערים נוצר על ידי החלת משוואות של Tasseled Cap שמוגדרות ב-Lobser and Cohen (2007) על תמונות שעברו תיקון BRDF של MODIS (MCD43B4). הנתונים שהתקבלו מולאו באמצעות השיטה שמתוארת במאמר של Weiss et al. (2014) כדי לבטל נתונים חסרים שנגרמו בגלל גורמים כמו כיסוי עננים. אחרי השלמת הפערים, הנתונים נחתכו לסף של [-1, 2] כדי להבטיח ערכים תקינים.
לאחר מכן, נתוני הפלט של 8 הימים, ברזולוציה של קילומטר אחד, שבהם הושלמו הפערים, עוברים צבירה זמנית כדי ליצור מוצרים חודשיים ושנתיים.
