Untuk mulai menggunakan AdMob API, Anda harus terlebih dahulu membuat atau memilih project di Konsol API Google dan mengaktifkan API menggunakan alat penyiapan, yang memandu Anda menyelesaikan prosesnya dan mengaktifkan AdMob API secara otomatis.

Buat kredensial

Semua permintaan yang Anda buat ke AdMob API harus diotorisasi. Untuk ringkasan singkat otorisasi, baca tentang cara memberi otorisasi dan mengidentifikasi aplikasi Anda ke Google.

Petunjuk berikut akan memberi Anda panduan terkait proses pembuatan client ID OAuth 2.0 untuk digunakan dengan alur aplikasi terinstal.

  1. Ikuti langkah-langkah untuk mengonfigurasi project Konsol API Google.

  2. Buka halaman Kredensial di Konsol API.
  3. Klik BUAT KREDENSIAL > Client ID OAuth.

    1. Jika sebelumnya Anda belum mengonfigurasi layar persetujuan OAuth untuk project ini, Anda akan diarahkan untuk melakukannya sekarang. Klik KONFIGURASIKAN LAYAR.

    2. Pilih jenis pengguna, lalu klik BUAT.

    3. Isi formulir awal. Anda dapat mengedit ini nanti jika diperlukan. Klik Simpan jika sudah selesai.

    4. Kembali ke Credentials > CREATE CREDENTIALS > OAuth client ID untuk melanjutkan.

  4. Pilih Desktop app sebagai jenis aplikasi, beri nama, lalu klik Create.

Buat permintaan

AdMob API dibuat berdasarkan HTTP dan JSON, sehingga semua klien HTTP standar dapat mengirim permintaan ke API ini dan mengurai responsnya. Namun, library klien Google API memberikan integrasi bahasa yang lebih baik, keamanan yang lebih baik, dan dukungan untuk membuat permintaan yang sah. Library klien ini tersedia dalam sejumlah bahasa pemrograman. Dengan menggunakannya, Anda tidak perlu lagi menyetel permintaan HTTP dan mengurai respons secara manual.

Setelah kredensial OAuth 2.0 dibuat, Anda siap untuk mulai menggunakan AdMob API. Untuk meminta akses menggunakan OAuth 2.0, aplikasi Anda juga akan memerlukan informasi cakupan.
