Global Land Survey (GLS) 1975 là một bộ sưu tập hình ảnh toàn cầu từ Máy quét đa phổ (MSS) của Landsat. Hầu hết các cảnh được Landsat 1-3 thu thập trong giai đoạn 1972 – 1983. Một số khoảng trống trong dữ liệu Landsat 1-3 đã được lấp đầy bằng các cảnh do Landsat 4-5 thu thập trong khoảng thời gian từ năm 1982 đến năm 1987. Những dữ liệu này chứa 4 dải quang phổ: Xanh lục, Đỏ, một dải NIR và một dải SWIR. Trong bản trình bày thông thường về Màu giả, hình ảnh xuất hiện màu đỏ vì băng tần NIR (hồng ngoại gần) được hiển thị dưới dạng màu đỏ, làm nổi bật thảm thực vật.
