Tập dữ liệu GLS2005 là một bộ sưu tập gồm 9.500 hình ảnh vệ tinh có độ phân giải trung bình đã được chỉnh sửa hình học và có lá, được thu thập từ năm 2004 đến năm 2007 và bao phủ các khối đất trên Trái đất. GLS2005 chủ yếu sử dụng dữ liệu Landsat 5 và dữ liệu Landsat 7 được lấp đầy khoảng trống với dữ liệu EO-1 ALI và Terra ASTER để lấp đầy mọi lỗ hổng dữ liệu.
Bộ sưu tập này chỉ chứa một phần nhỏ hình ảnh GLS2005 từ cảm biến L5 ETM.
