Yer simgeleri, çeşitli yer türlerini (ör. kafeler, kütüphaneler ve müzeler) gösterir. Yer Bul, Yer Ayrıntıları, Yakındakiler Arama ve Metin Arama istekleriyle, PNG veya SVG biçiminde simge URL'lerinin yanı sıra ilgili simge arka plan rengini isteyebilirsiniz. Simgeler satır içi olarak kullanılabilir.
Her simge iki yanıt alanıyla tanımlanır:
Simge temel URI'si, renkli olmayan bir simgenin temel URL'sini, dosya türü uzantısı çıkarılmış şekilde içerir. Simgeyi istemek için URI'ye .svg veya .png eklemeniz gerekir.
Simge arka plan rengi, yerin kategorisinin varsayılan HEX renk kodunu içerir.
