Account level enforcements are the highest priority issues to fix because it affects the whole account and all of the respective products. These are issues ranging from not finishing account onboarding requirements, not meeting our website requirements or policies. Tech Guidance


From the new merchant support service Google launched in August 2023, we recommend using this account level method to display account issues to your merchants. With the focus of this method to help merchants help themselves, it comes with a variety of features such as different languages support, updated policies, and support for new upcoming features in the future. Learn more about how to implement this new method into your interface.

It is important for merchants to know the statuses of their accounts, especially if they are causing the account to be suspended, warnings, or haven't completed the necessary onboarding . They need to understand what is the specific underlying issue and how to fix it. They won't be able to serve products on Free Listings and Paid Ads until they fix the account level issues and file for an account re-review.
