Whether you want to\nplan an event with friends or organize a business trip to Paris, you are\nprobably using email to assist with the task. By adding\n[schema.org](http://schema.org) markup to the emails you send your\nusers, you can make that information available across their Google experience,\nand make it easy for users to take quick actions, such as\nchecking in for a flight. Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Search,\nand the Google app all already use this structured data.\n\n[Schema.org](http://schema.org/) is a markup vocabulary that is standardized\nand managed as a collaboration of Google and other companies. By working with\nschema.org, we are creating an open standard, so that the markup you embed can\nbe used by any email product that receives them.\n\nSee the video for more motivation and similar examples of why you should\nconsider email markup for your app.\n| **Note:** Some of the schemas used by Google are still going through the standardization process of [schema.org](http://schema.org), and therefore, may change in the future.
