على الخريطة الأساسية، تتداخل بعض عناصر الخريطة مع بعضها البعض عند مستويات تكبير/تصغير معيّنة. عندما يحدث تداخل، قد لا يظهر نمط مخصّص لأنّ نمطًا آخر لعنصر خريطة يحجب النمط الذي ضبطته بشكل كامل أو جزئي. إذا كانت ميزة الخريطة المتداخلة شفافة جزئيًا، سيتغيّر لونها.
إذا كنت تصمّم ميزة خريطة ولم تظهر التغييرات التي أجريتها، قد يكون السبب هو تداخل ميزة خريطة أخرى. وإليك بعض الأمثلة:
تداخل عناصر الخريطة بشكل كامل: قد يتداخل عنصر الخريطة نقطة اهتمام>محمية طبيعية
مع عنصر الخريطة طبيعة>نباتات. على سبيل المثال، إذا كنت تصمّم حدائق وطنية، لن يعرض Yellowstone أبدًا نمط محمية طبيعية لأنّ ميزة الخريطة النباتات تغطّيها.
مثال آخر هو أنّ بعض مواقف السيارات المتعددة الطوابق تتضمّن ميزات خرائط تتداخل فيها مواقف السيارات والمباني.
تداخل عنصر خريطة شفاف مع عنصر آخر: إذا تداخل عنصر خريطة شفاف مع عنصر آخر، سيظهر كطبقة متراكبة في بعض مستويات التكبير أو التصغير. على سبيل المثال، تعرض هاتان الصورتان مستشفيات
محدّدة باللون الأحمر. في المثال الأول، يغطي نمط ميزة الخريطة المبنى ميزة الخريطة المستشفى، ولكنّه شبه شفاف، لذا يغيّر اللون.
في الصورة الثانية، تم ضبط مستوى العرض لميزة "خريطة المبنى" على إيقاف،
لذا يظهر النمط المختار، وهو لون أحمر ثابت.
العثور على عناصر الخريطة المتداخلة
لمعرفة ميزات الخريطة المتداخلة التي تؤثّر في نتائجك، اتّبِع الخطوات التالية:
إذا كان لديك فكرة عن عنصر الخريطة المتداخل، أوقِف العرض لعنصر الخريطة المتداخل الذي تشكّ فيه، وتحقّق مما إذا كان التصميم يظهر على النحو المتوقّع.
جرِّب إيقاف العناصر الأكثر احتمالاً، مثل المباني أو المناظر الطبيعية.
إذا لم تعثر على النمط بعد، ابدأ بإيقاف إعدادات الظهور لكل ميزات الخريطة الأخرى في المستوى الأعلى بالتتابع، وراقِب الخريطة إلى أن يظهر التصميم كما هو متوقّع.
بعد تحديد الميزة الرئيسية، اختبِر ميزات الخريطة ضمنها لتحديد الميزة أو الميزات المتداخلة.

بعد تحديد ميزات الخريطة المتداخلة، تتوفّر لك بعض الخيارات:
إيقاف إذن الوصول إلى عنصر الخريطة المتداخل: يؤدي هذا التغيير إلى إزالة عنصر الخريطة من الخريطة.
تنسيق العنصر المتداخل أيضًا: من خلال تنسيق عنصر الخريطة المتداخل، يمكنك تغيير عنصر آخر غير العنصر الذي أردت تغييره، وذلك لجعل تنسيقه أكثر توافقًا مع النمط الذي تريد تغييره أو إضافته.
تصميم العنصر المتداخل بدلاً من ذلك: إذا كان ذلك مناسبًا لاحتياجاتك، يمكنك تصميم العنصر المتداخل بدلاً من عنصر الخريطة الأصلي.
تركها متداخلة: كما في مثال المستشفى أعلاه، من المفيد أحيانًا ترك تأثير التراكب بدلاً من إيقاف مستوى الظهور لجميع المباني.

When overlapping happens, you might not see a custom style appear\nbecause another map feature style completely or partially obscures the style\nyou set. In the first, the **Building** map feature style overlays the\n **Hospital** map feature, but is semi-transparent, so it alters the color.\n In the second image, the building map feature **Visibility** is **Off**,\n so it shows the chosen style--a solid red.\n\n\nFind map features that overlap\n------------------------------\n\nTo figure out which overlapping map features affect your results,\ntake the following steps:\n\n1. If you have an idea what the overlapping map feature is, turn\n the **Visibility Off** for your suspected overlapping map feature, and\n see if your style appears as expected.\n\n2. Try turning off the most likely suspects, like **Building** or **Natural**.\n\n3. If you still haven't found it, start by turning **Visibility Off** on\n the other top-level map features in turn, watching the map for when\n your styling appears as expected.\n\n4. When you've narrowed it down to a top-level feature, test the map\n features under it to pinpoint the overlapping feature or features.\n\nManage overlapping map features\n-------------------------------\n\nOnce you figure out which map features are overlapping, you have a few choices:\n\n- **Turn visibility off on the overlapping map feature**: This change\n removes the map feature from the map.\n\n- **Style the overlapping feature as well**: By styling the overlapping\n map feature, you change a feature other than the one you intended so that\n its styling is more compatible with the style you want to change or add.\n\n- **Style the overlapping feature instead**: If it works for your needs,\n style the overlapping feature instead of the original map feature.\n\n- **Leave it overlapping**: As in the hospital example above, sometimes it\n works to leave the overlay effect, rather than turn off visibility for\n all buildings."]]
