Việc phân loại được thực hiện dọc theo toàn bộ đường bờ biển toàn cầu trong khoảng từ 60° Bắc đến 60° Nam từ ngày 1 tháng 1 năm 1984 đến ngày 31 tháng 12 năm 2016.
