פרוטוקול המגדיר אמצעי לאחזור ולשמירה של תמונות במטמון.
ה-framework שמאחסן גרפיקה של מדיה שנשמרה בממשק המשתמש עושה שימוש בהטמעת ברירת מחדל פנימית. האפליקציה יכולה לספק הטמעה מותאמת אישית על ידי הגדרת המאפיין GCKCastContext::imageCache.

מאחזרת את התמונה לכתובת האתר הנתונה ומחזירה גרסה מוקטנת של התמונה.
זוהי פעולה אסינכרונית.
