Diese Bildsammlung bietet Zugriff auf hochauflösende Satellitenbilder der Tropen. Ihr Hauptzweck ist es, den Verlust tropischer Wälder zu verringern und umzukehren, um so zum Kampf gegen den Klimawandel beizutragen, die Artenvielfalt zu erhalten, das Nachwachsen, die Wiederherstellung und die Verbesserung von Wäldern zu fördern und eine nachhaltige Entwicklung zu ermöglichen. Die Mosaike des NICFI Satellite Data Program (auch als Planet-NICFI-Mosaike bezeichnet) enthalten sowohl monatliche als auch halbjährliche Erfassungen, die alle 6 Monate generiert werden. Der Typ des Mosaiks wird im Feld „cadence“ der Bildmetadaten gespeichert. Mit diesem Feld und dem Start- und Enddatum für jedes Mosaik können Sie die gewünschten Bilder finden.
