Requirements for the 6DoF controller developer kit

Hardware requirements

• Two experimental 6DoF controllers and one faceplate
• Lenovo Mirage Solo with 3DoF controller (not included in the 6DoF developer kit)

Software requirements

You'll need to enable the ndk-hellovrbeta sample for the Android NDK platform.

For additional software requirements specific to your development platform, refer to Unity or Android NDK.

Prerequisites

Before attempting to set up and pair either of the experimental 6DoF controllers and faceplate included in the developer kit:

• Make sure you've completed the out-of-the box setup of the Mirage Solo using the Daydream (3DoF) controller that was originally included with the headset.

Caution: Make sure the 6DoF controller faceplate is NOT plugged into the Mirage Solo during out-of-the-box setup with the Daydream (3DoF) controller.

• Fluorescent lighting and HTC Vive Lighthouses are both known to interfere with tracking. Turn off the Vive Lighthouse if you have one, or move to a room with different conditions.
