Aggiungere e gestire prodotti

La sotto-API Products ti consente di gestire l'intero ciclo di vita dei tuoi prodotti in Merchant Center. Puoi utilizzarlo per caricare nuovi prodotti, aggiornare quelli esistenti, recuperare le informazioni sui prodotti ed eliminare quelli che non vendi più.

Considerazioni speciali

  • I prodotti possono essere inseriti,aggiornati o eliminati solo se appartengono a origini dati di tipo API. Non puoi inserire o aggiornare i prodotti all'interno delle origini dati che utilizzano caricamenti basati su file.
  • Per mantenere i tuoi prodotti pertinenti ed evitare la scadenza , devi aggiornarli o aggiornarli con una cadenza regolare (almeno ogni 30 giorni).

Prerequisiti

Prima di poter aggiungere o gestire prodotti utilizzando l'API, devi configurare almeno un'origine dati nel tuo account Merchant Center.

Per creare un'origine dati, utilizza il metodo dataSources.create della sotto-API Origini dati. Per istruzioni dettagliate, consulta la guida Gestire le origini dati API per i caricamenti dei prodotti. Dopo aver creato un'origine dati, prendi nota del relativo name (ad esempio, accounts/12345/dataSources/67890), in quanto ti servirà per le richieste di creazione, aggiornamento o eliminazione relative ai prodotti.

Aggiungi un prodotto

Per aggiungere un nuovo prodotto al tuo account Merchant Center, devi inserire una risorsa ProductInput in un'origine dati principale. Questa azione crea il prodotto e avvia l'elaborazione. I campi all'interno dell'oggetto productAttributes devono essere conformi alla specifica dei dati di prodotto.

Utilizza il metodo productInputs.insert e fornisci name dell'origine dati principale come parametro dataSource.

Aggiungere o aggiornare le informazioni sui prodotti con un'origine dati supplementare

Utilizza un'origine dati supplementare per fornire dati aggiuntivi o sostitutivi per i prodotti già presenti in un'origine dati principale. Ciò è utile per aggiungere informazioni come promozioni, etichette personalizzate o per ignorare dati di prodotto specifici senza modificare l'input del prodotto originale.

Per farlo, utilizza il metodo productInputs.insert, ma specifica name dell'origine dati supplementare nel parametro dataSource. Verifica che offerId, contentLanguage e feedLabel corrispondano a un prodotto esistente.

Questo esempio aggiunge un'etichetta personalizzata a un prodotto esistente utilizzando un'origine dati supplementare.

Aggiungere prodotti in modo asincrono

Per caricare un numero elevato di prodotti in modo efficiente, puoi inviare più richieste di inserimento contemporaneamente. Anziché attendere una risposta a ogni richiesta prima di inviare la successiva, puoi inviarle in modo asincrono e gestire le risposte man mano che arrivano. Questo approccio può migliorare significativamente la velocità di caricamento dei dati.
