It doesn't matter if the carriers follow a\n[Google-managed or carrier-managed launch process](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/launch#google-managed-vs.).\n\nWhen does verification happen?\n\nBrand verification happens after you submit a launch request. Here's the\nworkflow:\n\n1. You [submit verification information](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/launch/brand-verification#submit-verification-information) (this only happens once: prior to your first launch request).\n2. You [complete the prerequisites for launch](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/launch/launch-approval#prerequisites) and [submit a launch request](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/launch/launch-approval#submit-launch-request).\n3. During the launch approval process, Google, carriers, or both reach out to your brand contact for verification.\n\nHow often will the brand be contacted for verification?\n\nThis depends on which carriers you've selected for launch.\n\n- [**Google-managed launches**](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/launch#google-managed-vs.): The brand will be contacted once, during your first launch request on any carrier with a Google-managed launch process. Once verified, the agent is considered verified for all future Google-managed launches.\n- [**Carrier-managed launches**](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/launch#google-managed-vs.): The brand may be contacted by each carrier as part of their individual launch approval process.\n\nSubmit verification information **Note:** To verify your agent using the RBM Management API, refer to the [Submit verification information](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/management-api/agents#submit_verification_information) and [Look up an agent's verification status](/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/guides/management-api/agents#look_up_an_agents_verification_status) documentation.\n\nTo use the Developer Console, follow these steps:\n\n1. Fill out the information and click **Update agent verification info**.\n\n You can edit the verification information after it's been submitted,\n but not after submitting a launch request.\n | **Important:** Please make sure that the brand POC contact details, especially the email ID, is that of an individual brand representative and not an email distribution list. This is important because we use the email ID to send an approval request to the brand representative mentioned by you, requesting them to authorize that the you (their messaging partner) would be creating and managing the respective agent on their behalf. This is a **mandatory** step for agent launch reviews, especially on Google-managed carriers.\n3. Click **Proceed** to confirm that Google, carriers, or both should email\n your brand contact to verify your agent.
