Una vez que se haya informado una conversión a Google Ads, puedes ajustar la conversión más adelante en la API de Google Ads.

Para ajustar una conversión, primero debes tener configurada una acción de conversión, y también debes haber registrado las conversiones que estás a punto de ajustar.

La API de Google Ads admite el uso de order_id, también conocido como ID de transacción, para identificar la conversión que se ajustará con el ConversionAdjustmentUploadService.

Si deseas obtener el conversion_action_id necesario para realizar un ajuste de conversión, puedes realizar una de las siguientes acciones:

  • Obtén el valor del parámetro ctId disponible en la URL cuando hagas clic en los detalles de conversión en la IU de Google Ads.

  • Consulta la API de Google Ads para encontrar conversion_action.id en el informe conversion_action.

Requisitos

Estos son algunos requisitos y restricciones que debes tener en cuenta cuando ajustes las conversiones en la API:

  • Solo la cuenta que administra las acciones de conversión puede subir ajustes. Usa las instrucciones de configuración del seguimiento de conversiones para determinar qué cuenta administra las conversiones para tu cuenta de Google Ads.

    Si intentas subir un ajuste con una cuenta diferente, se mostrará el error NO_CONVERSION_ACTION_FOUND. Este error también ocurre si la acción de conversión del ajuste no está habilitada.

  • Google Ads solo permite ajustar las conversiones para los tipos de acción de conversión de SALESFORCE, UPLOAD_CLICKS o WEBPAGE. Si intentas subir un ajuste de una conversión en la que la acción de conversión no es uno de estos tipos, se generará un error INVALID_CONVERSION_ACTION_TYPE.

  • Los campos que especifican la fecha y la hora requieren una zona horaria que no necesariamente debe ser la de la cuenta. El formato de estos campos es yyyy-mm-dd HH:mm:ss+|-HH:mm, por ejemplo: 2022-01-01 19:32:45-05:00 (se ignora el horario de verano).

  • Espera entre 4 y 6 horas después de crear la acción de conversión antes de ajustar sus conversiones para evitar un error TOO_RECENT_CONVERSION_ACTION.

  • El ajuste falla con un error CONVERSION_NOT_FOUND si se cumple alguna de las siguientes condiciones:

    • Nunca se registró la conversión.

    • La conversión se informó menos de 24 horas antes del intento de ajuste. En algunas situaciones, esto podría generar un error TOO_RECENT_CONVERSION en su lugar.

  • Debes especificar el order_id en el ConversionAdjustment bajo cualquiera de estas condiciones:

    • El type de la acción de conversión es igual a WEBPAGE.

    • A la conversión original que estás ajustando se le asignó un order_id.

    En cambio, si especificas gclid_date_time_pair, la operación fallará y mostrará el error ConversionAdjustmentUploadError.MISSING_ORDER_ID_FOR_WEBPAGE o ConversionAdjustmentUploadError.CONVERSION_NOT_FOUND, respectivamente.

  • Cuando creas un objeto ConversionAdjustment, el atributo partial_failure de UploadConversionAdjustmentsRequest siempre debe establecerse en true. Sigue los lineamientos de fallas parciales cuando manejes operaciones válidas y con errores de forma simultánea.

  • No puedes cambiar ConversionAction con un ajuste. En su lugar, usa un objeto RETRACTION para quitar la conversión anterior y sube una conversión nueva con el ConversionAction actualizado. No es necesario modificar la marca de tiempo. Consulta Acerca de los ajustes de conversión.
