Cree grupos experimentales

Una vez que hayas creado un experimento, deberás crear varios grupos para brindarle más información sobre lo que estás probando.

Grupos experimentales

El elemento ExperimentArm representa una parte de la comparación que realizas para el experimento. Todos los experimentos deben tener siempre exactamente un grupo de control. Este grupo es una campaña existente que constituye la base para compararla con el otro.

Los otros grupos se denominan grupos de tratamiento y, en estos, puedes hacer cambios en la campaña antes de comenzar el experimento.

El ExperimentArm también contiene el parámetro de configuración traffic_split. Esto te permite especificar el porcentaje de tráfico que se dirige a cada grupo del experimento. Cada grupo debe especificar una división del tráfico, y la suma de los valores de división del tráfico en todos los grupos debe sumar 100.

Debido a esta restricción de división del tráfico, todos los grupos experimentales deben crearse en la misma solicitud.

Estos son algunos puntos clave sobre el ejemplo anterior:

  • El name de cada grupo debe ser único dentro de Experiment.
  • traffic_split debe sumar hasta 100 en todos los grupos.
  • Exactamente un grupo debe tener control establecido en true; todos los demás grupos deben tenerlo configurado en false.

    Solo el grupo de control especifica un array campaigns, que contiene solo una campaña.

Grupos de tratamiento

Una vez que hayas creado todos los grupos experimentales, los de tratamiento (es decir, aquellos en los que control se configura como false) propagarán automáticamente su campo in_design_campaigns. Puedes recuperar el campo de la respuesta de la API si configuras el tipo de contenido de la respuesta en MUTABLE_RESOURCE, como en el código de ejemplo. También puedes recuperarlos a través de una consulta GoogleAdsService:

Campañas en diseño

Puede tratar estas campañas integradas en el diseño como campañas normales. Realiza los cambios que desees probar en tu experimento a estas campañas; la campaña de control no se verá afectada. Una vez que programas el experimento, estos cambios se materializan en una campaña real que puede publicar anuncios.

Estas campañas en el diseño son, técnicamente, borradores de campaña. Si deseas encontrarlos en GoogleAdsService, agrega el parámetro include_drafts=true a la consulta.

Se debe realizar al menos un cambio en la campaña en diseño antes de programar el experimento.
