Pemetaan di atas FeatureCollection

Untuk menerapkan operasi yang sama ke setiap Feature dalam FeatureCollection, gunakan featureCollection.map(). Misalnya, untuk menambahkan atribut area lain ke setiap fitur di FeatureCollection watershed, gunakan:

Pada contoh sebelumnya, perhatikan bahwa properti baru ditetapkan berdasarkan komputasi dengan geometri fitur. Properti juga dapat ditetapkan menggunakan komputasi yang melibatkan properti yang ada.

FeatureCollection yang benar-benar baru dapat dibuat dengan map(). Contoh berikut mengonversi DAS menjadi centroid:
