הפונקציה משנה את קנה המידה של הקלט כך שטווח ערכי הקלט [low, high] הופך ל-[0, 1]. ערכים מחוץ לטווח לא יוצמדו. האלגוריתם הזה תמיד יוצר פיקסלים של נקודה צפה.
