יוצרת פונקציית צמצום שתחשב היסטוגרמה של הקלט באמצעות מספר קבוע של תאים ברוחב קבוע. המערכת מתעלמת מערכים שנמצאים מחוץ לטווח [min, max). הפלט הוא מערך Nx2 של קצוות תחתונים של משבצות וספירות (או ספירות מצטברות), והוא מתאים לשימוש לכל פיקסל.
